About these rates. Statutory notarial fees are subject to Florida maximum limits. Mobile travel, convenience, printing, waiting, and signing appointment fees are non-statutory service fees. Fees are provided for client review before service. Final total may vary based on travel distance, appointment timing, document needs, and requested add-on services.
I started Christy's Mobile Notary Next Door after watching a family member try to get hospital paperwork notarized on a Sunday afternoon. Nobody was open, nobody would travel, and a stressful week got harder than it needed to be.
Today I do the driving. Whether it's a first-time homebuyer signing at the kitchen table or a daughter finally getting her father's power of attorney in place, you get the same thing: someone punctual, prepared and genuinely kind about it.

Base travel covers the first 10 miles roundtrip. Farther out is still no problem — mileage is simply added to your quote at $1.50 per mile.

Don't see your town? Ask anyway — we travel farther for a small mileage fee.
My mother is in memory care and could not travel. Christy came to her room, was unbelievably patient, and had the power of attorney handled in twenty minutes. I cannot overstate what a relief that was.
We close a lot of refinances and Christy has never once returned a package with an error. She confirms the appointment, sends scan-backs the same night, and our borrowers always mention how pleasant she was.
I needed an affidavit notarized at 7pm on a Friday for a Monday deadline. She met me at a coffee shop within the hour and the price was exactly what she quoted on the phone. Saved me completely.
Still unsure about something? Call or text and we'll walk through it.
Bring your unsigned document and a current, government-issued photo ID — a driver's license, state ID, passport or military ID all work. The name on your ID needs to match the name on the document. Please don't sign anything before we arrive; the notarial act requires that the signature happen in our presence.
Unfortunately no. A Notary public is not an attorney and is prohibited from giving legal advice, drafting documents, or choosing forms on your behalf. What we can do is verify your identity, administer the oath, and complete the notarial certificate correctly. If you need guidance on the document itself, we're glad to point you toward a licensed attorney.
Yes, when needed. Some documents — wills and certain deeds especially — require one or two disinterested witnesses in addition to the Notary. We can arrange them for $20 per witness if you let us know when you book. Note that a witness cannot be someone named in or benefiting from the document.
Cash, all major credit and debit cards, Zelle, Venmo and CashApp. Payment is due at the appointment. Title companies, law firms and signing services can be invoiced on net-30 terms once an account is set up.
There's a $35 trip fee. A notarization has to be refused if the signer has no valid ID, appears unable to understand what they're signing, seems to be signing under pressure, or if the document is incomplete. It's rare, and we'll do our best to catch problems over the phone first so the trip isn't wasted.
A day or two is comfortable, but same-day appointments are often available. After-hours, weekend, and holiday visits carry a $25 surcharge. For hospital and facility visits, please give us as much notice as you can — some locations require advance clearance before a visitor can be admitted.
We can notarize a document written in another language as long as the notarial certificate itself is in English and we can communicate directly with you about what you're signing. We cannot work through a third-party translator, since the law requires direct communication between Notary and signer.
Ask us. Remote online notarization availability depends on Florida rules and on whether the receiving party will accept an electronic seal. When it's an option, we'll let you know during your quote.
Send a few details and you'll have a written quote back — usually within the hour during business hours. In a hurry? Calling is always fastest.
